About the Role
An Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' school, this is a rare opportunity to work for Montgomery Primary Academy as a Teaching Assistant where you will be fully supported. Montgomery Primary Academy is an outstanding school led by an ambitious and dedicated Principal, Jasmine Woodward, who has been with the school for over 10 years. She has established a dedicated, enthusiastic and talented team of staff where everyone is committed to ensuring all children at Montgomery achieve their very best academically through excellent teaching and a well-crafted, ambitious curriculum. This has seen the school graded 'Outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted and in excess of 91% of KS2 children meeting the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths. We are now looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team. At the heart of our curriculum is our belief that physical and mental well-being is vital. Pupils access specialist PE provision alongside a vast array of additional sporting clubs and competitions. We have been awarded the Gold Artsmark in recognition of our enriched curriculum. We are looking for a teaching assistant to work in partnership with teachers to improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. The role provides support to students so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement. This role is vital in supporting our students and helping them achieve their potential. Montgomery Academy is part of Lift Schools, one of the largest MATs in the country, allowing you access to the best training and be part of a Trust who will support you wholeheartedly.
