About the Role
A rare part-time Teaching Assistant role with a lovely school working mornings. Lift Beacon is a thriving Primary Academy in Loughborough, serving children aged 2 to 11 years old. Lift Beacon is part of Lift Schools, one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the country, providing access to excellent training and development opportunities. This role involves working in partnership with teachers to improve student learning and attainment, promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. You will support children to access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. This position is vital in helping children achieve their potential.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working with children and an understanding of a range of pupil learning needs is desirable. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is preferred, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.

About you
You will have patience and a calm demeanour when interacting with children in a variety of situations. Empathy and the ability to relate to students on a personal level are essential. You should be able to engage and enthuse students to foster a desire to learn.

Qualifications
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is preferred, but candidates willing to work towards this are encouraged to apply.
