About the Role
Are you passionate about working with young people and looking for a fulfilling career? We're seeking a warm and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Lift Newington in Hull. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning, helping students build confidence, independence, and a sense of achievement. You will provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups and contribute to a calm, purposeful learning environment where every young person feels safe, seen, and supported. The role will predominantly be based in upper KS2, with flexibility to work across all levels of the school as required.

Experience
Motivation and enthusiasm to support children within school. Understanding of pupils' learning needs to help them access lesson content. Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
About You
A warm and approachable manner, able to be playful while instilling boundaries. Skilled in helping students develop independent learning skills. Flexible and willing to work across different key stages as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification required; Level 3 desirable. If you do not yet hold a Level 3 qualification, you will be supported to gain this through our Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme, which provides the behaviours, skills, and experience needed to thrive in the role.
