About the Role
A rare part-time Teaching Assistant role with a lovely school working mornings. Lift Beacon is a thriving Primary Academy in Loughborough, serving children aged 2 to 11 years old. In this role, you will work in partnership with teachers to improve student learning and attainment while promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. You will support children to access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. This role is vital in helping children achieve their potential.

Experience
Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable. Understanding of a range of pupils' learning needs is important. Previous experience is not essential if you are willing to learn and develop.
About you
You will have patience and a calm demeanour when interacting with children and a variety of situations. Empathy and the ability to relate to students on a personal level are essential. You should be able to engage and enthuse students to foster a desire to learn. A commitment to supporting inclusion and social development is important.
Qualifications
You will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
