We are seeking a warm and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will work in partnership with teachers to improve students' learning and attainment while promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. This varied role involves spending half your time in a Year 1 classroom and the other half in our enhanced provision supporting 10 SEND children.
Your support will enable students to access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement. This role is vital in helping our students reach their full potential.

Experience
Experience working with children, ideally with an understanding of a range of pupil learning needs including SEN. Previous experience in a school environment is beneficial but not essential.
About you
You will be patient, calm and empathetic, able to relate to students on a personal level. You should be enthusiastic and able to engage and motivate students to learn. A passion for supporting children’s development and inclusion is essential.
Qualifications
Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is desirable, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
