About the Role
Lift Beacon High is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our new Autism Resource Provision (ARP). This exciting provision supports students with Autism and associated social communication needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve success both within the ARP and across the wider school community. Working alongside experienced teachers and HLTAs, you'll support the delivery of a bespoke curriculum, lead small-group interventions, and help students successfully integrate into mainstream lessons. You'll play a vital role in promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for our students.
The role is due to commence September / early October 2026. This is a fixed term position ending August 2027.
Experience
A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential. Experience working with students with Autism or additional needs is desirable but not essential.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Patience, empathy and resilience. A collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive education.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in education or supporting students with additional needs would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
