We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Test Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test cases. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other engineers throughout the software development lifecycle to define test strategies, identify defects, and continuously improve testing practices. The role requires hands-on experience in test automation using either .NET/C# or Java and a strong background in software testing.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven professional experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with test automation.
- Programming experience in C#/.NET or Java.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Experience with SpecFlow, Cucumber, or BDD.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications, particularly Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerised test environments.
- Experience designing or enhancing an automation framework from the ground up.
- Understanding of test automation best practices, including maintainability, reusability, and reliable test execution.
