About the Role
The Therapies Assistant will support the Therapies Team, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Complimentary Therapy, in the daily management of clinical and non-clinical activities within the In-Patient Unit (IPU), Outpatients, and the Community. You will assist therapists in maintaining a high standard of patient care by undertaking delegated clinical programmes of management, administrative tasks, and equipment duties to support the smooth functioning of the department. This role involves helping therapists with patient treatment either jointly or independently following therapist assessment, which may include community visits. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy environment within clinical and non-clinical areas and assisting with the purchase, maintenance, and safe storage of equipment.

Experience
Experience in a healthcare or therapy support role is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is important.

You should be motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential. You must be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but relevant training or experience in therapy support or healthcare settings will be an advantage.
