About the Role
Greener Ealing Ltd (GEL) provides high-quality Waste Collection, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance and other Environmental Services for the London Borough of Ealing, its residents, and other service users. A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Fleet and Compliance team for a Transport Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for line managing the Business Incident Coordinator and Administrator, overseeing all health and safety incident and accident investigations involving fleet, drivers, and third parties. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements relating to driver hours, Working Time Directive (WTD), daily vehicle checks, and company policies, managing these within relevant guidelines. Experience
- Extensive experience working in the waste/environmental services industry
- Experience managing budgets, staffing levels, and resources efficiently

- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent IT, numeracy, and communication skills
- Ability to work some unsociable hours including weekends
Qualifications
- Current full UK Driving Licence or equivalent
- Certificate of Professional Competence (Goods National)
