About the Role
Zaizi is seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to join a delivery-focused, agile environment working with government clients. In this role, you will manage and mentor other User Experience Designers while actively defining and overseeing the creation of prototypes and other user-centred design artefacts. These artefacts will help to understand user motivations, context, behaviour, processes, and services across end-to-end user journeys.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for planning, defining, and overseeing user-centred design activities. Collaboration with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Designers, Developers, and Testers is key to ensuring user-centred design outcomes are understood and inform ongoing activities.
You will also help define user-centred design approaches and methodologies for projects and initiatives, support the creation of workshops, prototypes, and other design artefacts to inform decision-making and drive actions.
Experience
- Expert knowledge and experience with user interface tools such as Figma
- Experience with a range of user-centred design and service design techniques and practices
- Excellent knowledge and experience of prototyping and interaction design
- Ability to break down designs and communicate them effectively to developers and testers
- Experience setting design objectives and choosing appropriate tools and techniques
- Ability to plan user-centred design activities and define protocols
- Skilled in theming and synthesising outputs from raw research to produce strategic insights
- Proven ability to communicate information clearly to stakeholders and team members
- Comfortable working in an agile and flexible way across multiple projects

Qualifications
- Relevant experience in UX/UI design roles is expected
- Security Clearance: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5+ years due to government project requirements
