About the Role
The Warehouse Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities during an assigned shift, ensuring efficient operations, health & safety compliance, and team productivity. You will supervise warehouse staff, manage performance, and ensure that picking, stacking, loading, and delivery processes meet company standards. Key duties include opening or closing the building at the start or end of shifts, managing and coordinating warehouse staff, monitoring daily operations to meet productivity and performance targets, enforcing health, safety and legal regulations, managing shift schedules and attendance, training and developing team members, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with other departments such as Telesales, Sales Accounts, and Buying Team. You will also ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and plan routes and loads considering vehicle availability.

Experience
Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics, typically 2+ years. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is essential.

Strong organisational and time management skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to work flexible shifts including early, late, and Saturdays if required.
