Location
Various locations across the London Borough of Barnet, including Edgware Library, Finchley Church End Library, and Golders Green Library.

Hours
Weekend and evening shifts: Saturdays (3 to 7 hours per week) and Thursday evenings (3 hours). Specific vacancies include 7 hours on Saturday at Edgware and Finchley Church End Libraries, and 3 hours on Thursday evening at Golders Green Library.

Salary
£31,158 per annum (pro-rated for part-time hours)

About the Role
This role involves welcoming library customers and identifying their individual needs to provide a quality service that enables full use of library facilities. You will assist customers with self-service equipment and other library systems, help produce resources and guidance for customers during volunteer-supported and technology-enabled opening hours, and support the delivery of library events and activities. You will work under the direction of the Library Customer Services Manager or Assistant Library Customer Services Manager to ensure agreed standards of service are met.

Experience
Knowledge of library services is desirable but not essential. Good customer care skills are required.
