About the Role
This role is about people, coffee, and connection. As Wholesale Manager, you’ll grow Origin’s presence across the South East and Home Counties by building and nurturing partnerships with cafés, restaurants, and hotels that share our values. You’ll balance finding new opportunities with supporting existing customers to thrive, making sure every partner feels part of Origin’s story. It’s a blend of sales, service, and storytelling, where commercial success and genuine relationships go hand in hand.

Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new wholesale accounts within your region, focusing on high-quality independent and multi-site partners; developing and managing long-term relationships that reflect Origin’s standards for quality, sustainability, and service; collaborating with training and technical teams to ensure every customer is supported and successful; representing Origin at events, trade shows, and cuppings as an ambassador for our coffee and culture; maintaining accurate CRM data, reports, and account plans to support forecasting and strategy; contributing to regional and national sales planning alongside the Head of Wholesale; and delivering budgeted growth for Origin within the allocated region across organic and new business.

Experience
Proven track record of driving B2B sales and managing accounts in the speciality coffee industry or related hospitality/F&B sectors. Experience growing new accounts and maintaining strong customer retention. Skilled in using CRM systems and digital tools for planning and reporting. Background in barista or café management roles progressing into sales or account management is desirable.

About you
You combine commercial drive with a genuine love of coffee and people. Comfortable working independently, managing your own pipeline, and representing a brand with integrity. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build trust. Advanced coffee knowledge and barista skills, confident in leading tastings and training. Proactive, curious, and collaborative approach. Able to coordinate a variety of stakeholders and priorities effectively.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are specified, but advanced coffee knowledge and barista skills are expected. A valid driving licence is implied due to travel and company car provision.
