About the Role
Workforce Intelligence plays a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision making across the organisation by providing robust, accurate, and timely workforce information. As a centre of excellence, the team delivers national and internal workforce reporting, supports statutory requirements, and drives strategic workforce planning. All workforce information is held on internal Workforce Systems including Electronic Staff Records (ESR) and a local data warehouse. The Workforce Systems team supports the use and administration of these systems, led by the Workforce Systems Lead. This team acts as the Trust's central hub for managing the integrity of workforce data within ESR, including position management, establishment control, cost centre alignment, and reconciliation with the General Ledger. The team also oversees local data warehouse development and provides a responsive ESR support service to internal stakeholders. The department has been recognised for its impact and innovation, with multiple Trust-level award nominations and individual staff awards for excellence. Join the best NHS trust in England to work for, according to our staff, with a supportive environment that values flexible working.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working with workforce information systems such as Electronic Staff Records (ESR) or similar is highly desirable. Experience in data management, reporting, or system administration within a healthcare or large organisational setting is advantageous.

About you
You are detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage complex data with accuracy. You have strong communication skills to support internal stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team. You are proactive in problem-solving and committed to maintaining data integrity and supporting strategic workforce planning.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in workforce systems administration, data management, or related fields are preferred. A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes is essential.
