About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive (AE) who is a proactive, motivated and results-driven individual with strong written and spoken communication skills. The Account Executive is a critical support role within the team, working closely with the SAM/AD and BD. This role offers the opportunity to learn core skills essential for a career in Account Management. Attitude is everything; we expect a real hunger to learn, proactivity, and a positive approach to developing your skills and knowledge of the agency and the industry more broadly.

Key Responsibilities:

The Client Relationship
Develop a deep understanding of true client partnerships and what it takes to build them. Be known for your positive can-do attitude and friendly nature. Lead status meetings and other client meetings with confidence. Proactively engage with clients by phone and conversation. Show curiosity about your client’s business by asking insightful questions and gaining a deeper understanding of their sector and marketplace. Actively develop creative competitor reviews with analysis of marketing trends. Share relevant sector news and information with the project team. Be the subject matter expert for the project team—know the client product thoroughly, understand what can and should be communicated, and support the creative and strategy teams. Write contact reports for all client meetings, share them with SAM/AD/BD for approval, and circulate to the client.

The Work
Be passionate about what makes great creative work. Stay informed by reviewing work from different agencies and clients. Confidently share relevant creative work with colleagues to spark discussion on quality and effectiveness. Show an active interest in learning how to interrogate and challenge creative work to achieve the best results. Support and learn about the production process. Assist on campaigns with diligence and attention to craft. Help SAM develop the campaign deliverables matrix. Coordinate with media agencies to gather media specifications for assets and share deliverables lists with creatives. Be meticulous with details—ensure all feedback is addressed, brand guidelines are followed, and facts and statistics are accurate.

Finances
Support AM/SAM in maintaining the finance tracker by inputting estimates, invoices, and purchase orders. Maintain thorough audit trails by saving key email approvals on the server. Show interest in the relationship between resource allocation and fees. Review project summary reports to ensure timesheets are up to date and project churn is accurate. Use Netsuite to create estimates for SAM/AD approval.

The Team
Buddy up with new joiners and help welcome and train trainees. Learn to manage up by being transparent about your capacity and flagging any issues. Understand and diligently perform the responsibilities of an AM. Support the team proactively and with a positive attitude. Ensure smooth operations by booking rooms for client meetings, arranging catering, allocating travel time, booking taxis through Despatch, ensuring meeting room technology works, and providing necessary equipment like clickers.

The Agency
Build close working relationships across all departments to foster a one-team culture and achieve the best outcomes. Focus on partnering with the production team during the production process. Support connections between the agency and other agencies such as media and PR to ensure consistent client output. Engage in wider agency initiatives including creativity unplugged and event organization.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience is not explicitly required but a proactive, motivated, and results-driven attitude is essential. A willingness to learn and develop core account management skills is expected.

About you
Detail orientated and naturally organised. Possess a truly positive, can-do attitude. A problem solver rather than a problem seer. Hungry to learn and develop professionally. Skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A strong relationship builder and all-round people person. A great listener who understands the importance of true client partnerships. Comfortable picking up the phone, greeting clients, and leading client meetings.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated as mandatory; however, a commitment to personal development and learning is supported and encouraged.
