About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Account Manager to join a growing residential cleaning and grounds maintenance contract across London, with sites in Reading and Oxford. You will lead all aspects of cleaning and grounds maintenance on a large multi-site residential contract. This role includes direct line management responsibility for 2 Supervisors and a team of Cleaners and Grounds staff, requiring energy and drive to advance the contracts.
As a Cleaning Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction
- Providing and maintaining quality of service delivery
- Managing, recruiting, and coaching local service teams
- Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, and audits to support the Operations Manager
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning or grounds maintenance account management
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry
About you
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure, and influence at a senior level
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills
- IT literacy including PowerPoint and Excel
Qualifications
Security clearance (DBS) is required for this role.
