About the Role
Working alongside the Team Manager, you will manage a complex caseload, support and mentor colleagues, champion high-quality safeguarding practice, and contribute to service improvement and development. Key responsibilities include managing complex safeguarding and child protection cases, supervising and mentoring Social Workers, ASYEs and students, chairing complex meetings, preparing high-quality reports for Court and Child Protection Conferences, supporting practice development and service improvement, building effective partnerships with children, families and partner agencies, and deputising for the Team Manager when required.

Experience
- Significant experience in statutory Children's Social Care
- Strong safeguarding, child protection and court experience
- Experience of supervising or mentoring others

About you
- Excellent assessment, analytical and decision-making skills
- Good knowledge of children's legislation and safeguarding practice

Qualifications
- A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
