About the Role
We are seeking two motivated and experienced Housing Officers to join our Resident Services Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this key role, you will deliver a high-quality housing management service across a defined patch. You will be responsible for managing tenancies, supporting residents to sustain their homes, and ensuring compliance with tenancy conditions.
As the lead officer for your area, you will work closely with residents, internal teams, and external partners to resolve issues and maintain safe, well-managed communities. Your duties will include managing tenancy and leasehold matters, investigating anti-social behaviour, carrying out estate inspections, taking enforcement action, and supporting vulnerable residents.
This is an office-based role requiring attendance 5 days per week, with travel across your designated patch using your own vehicle.
Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in housing management or equivalent transferable skills
- Proven experience managing tenancy and leasehold matters
- Experience handling anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement cases
- Previous work in a local authority or social housing setting preferred
- Knowledge of housing legislation, safeguarding, welfare support, and multi-agency working

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently across a designated patch
- High performer with a proven track record in tenancy and ASB management
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Commitment to delivering high-quality housing services and improving community wellbeing
Qualifications
- A degree or housing qualification such as CIH is desirable but not essential
- Must be able to provide a supporting statement demonstrating how you meet the criteria for this role
