About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Assistant Apprentice to join our busy procurement team at the National Theatre. In this role, you will support the delivery of an effective, data-driven procurement service by providing administrative, analytical, and operational support across a wide range of procurement activities including tendering, supplier management, contract administration, spend analysis, and systems support. You will help ensure procurement information is accurate and accessible, contribute to procurement activities, and build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop commercial and analytical skills within a dynamic arts organisation through a structured programme. You will study the Commercial Procurement and Supply - Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship at Capital City College one day a week.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as part of a team and the ability to build relationships
Evidence of taking responsibility for completing tasks independently and working towards deadlines

Excellent analytical skills with a passion for organising, analysing and presenting data, identifying trends and actionable insights
Positive attitude, reliable, pro-active and enjoys working as part of a busy team

Qualifications
Maths and English at GCSE Grade 5 or above or equivalent
A minimum of three A-Levels or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, charts), PowerPoint and basic knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau or similar platforms
Suitable for study at Level 4 apprenticeship standard
Applicants with a degree or postgraduate qualification in relevant fields or extensive professional procurement experience will not be considered
