Description
Enfield Centralised Service (Day-Time)
This is an exciting opportunity to lead AMHP Practice and the development of our Centralised AMHP Service. The team provides a statutory emergency response to children, young people, and vulnerable adults where their circumstances require immediate intervention and assessment under The Mental Health Act 1983/2007. As such, the AMHP team plays a vital and essential role in safeguarding and supporting our most vulnerable residents.
The AMHP has a unique role, given that its work encompasses both practice with both children and adults; consequently, the work is varied and wide-ranging. The position provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced AMHP practitioner to demonstrate creativity to make a real difference in vulnerable people’s lives; and to influence and shape the service, along with shaping the practice of aspiring AMHPs through participation in the annual AMHP Training Program and Practice Education Program.
Enfield prides itself on having a supportive work culture with good working relationships with BEH MH NHS Trust, and stable management team that gives social workers the autonomy they need to deliver a first-class service to vulnerable children, adults, and their families.
If you’re looking for an interesting challenge working within a centralized AMHP Service within our integrated MDT Mental Health setting, and looking for a rewarding position with good professional peer support/professional and clinical supervision, or just looking to influence and shape mental health social work and AMHP practice; then this could, be it?
