About the Role
As an Aqua Aerobics Instructor with Southwark Council, you will deliver safe, fun, and effective water-based fitness classes for members of all ages and abilities. You will create an engaging and inclusive environment, motivate participants to achieve their fitness goals, and ensure all classes comply with health, safety, and pool operating procedures. You will be part of a passionate organisation committed to diversity and inclusion, demonstrated through initiatives such as Southwark Stands Together. Your role will involve welcoming customers, designing and delivering high-quality classes, and catering to individual participant needs and abilities. Staying up-to-date with group fitness knowledge and safety standards is essential to this role.

Experience
Proven success in delivering safe, enjoyable, and effective aquatic fitness classes. Experience in motivating and engaging diverse groups of participants is essential.

Qualifications
Recognised Group Exercise or Aqua Aerobics qualification. Enhanced DBS check required. Commitment to comply with and promote the Council’s Equality and Diversity Policy.
