About the Role
Southwark Council is the largest local authority social landlord in London, managing 55,000 homes and supporting a diverse and growing population. We are committed to making our borough just and fair by tackling inequalities and delivering inclusive growth through innovation, partnership, and purpose.

As a Project Officer within the Local Economy team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Southwark by ensuring the supported employment programme meets the highest standards. This role is about empowering lives, influencing a fairer economy, and contributing to ambitious projects such as Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF).

You will lead fidelity reviews, provide coaching to employment teams, support partnerships with clinical and delivery teams, deliver project workstreams on time and to quality, conduct research and analysis, and represent the team in meetings. Additionally, you will contribute to wider economic growth initiatives within the Planning & Growth division and support local economy projects including quality assurance, governance, commissioning, and performance planning.

We offer a supportive and motivated team environment with family-friendly policies including flexible and home working options, a local government pension scheme, and extensive training and development opportunities.
