About the Role
UNIQLO, a leading brand of the Fast Retailing Group and one of the largest apparel retailers globally, is recruiting an Assistant Branch Merchandiser to join the Europe team based in London. Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, you will collaborate closely with the International Branch Merchandising team, Core Merchandising Planning, Store Operations, Logistics, In-store Merchandising, IT teams, and Global Headquarters. Your primary responsibility will be managing in-season inventory across UNIQLO stores in Europe, including the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, and Poland.

You will use forecasting and analysis, primarily via Excel, to determine appropriate stock levels by week, month, and season, ensuring settings reflect targets and KPIs are achieved. You will undertake relevant analysis, use reporting tools to make decisions, and develop action plans for department and country responsibilities. Managing auto allocation system settings, ensuring weekly stock consolidations to optimize inventory across channels, and liaising with store operations, COOs, and logistics teams to resolve issues and improve stock movement efficiency will be key parts of your role.

Additionally, you will assist in evaluating, developing, and training team members, manage the team’s daily work schedule, escalate issues to the Inventory Control Manager, and support continuous process improvements to drive departmental efficiencies.

Requirements

Experience
2-3 years experience in branch/allocation or international merchandising is required. Previous experience within the fashion retail industry is an advantage.

About you
Analytical and numerate with advanced Excel skills, including manual data handling and analysis from multiple sources. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team using your own initiative. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the business.
