Location
London, working within 56 Dean Street and Dean Street Express services.
Hours
Flexible working hours including evenings, Saturdays and potentially Sundays if the service expands to a seven-day week.
Salary
£33,094 per annum
About the Role
The Assistant Practitioner will support Registered Nurses, Health Advisers, and Doctors in their daily responsibilities. This role involves working flexibly across 56 Dean Street and Dean Street Express services. Key duties include assisting with patient recalls for sexually transmitted infections requiring treatment or partner notification, participating in a text service to communicate negative results and results requiring action, and delivering direct patient care. The role also encompasses clerical, reception, and administrative tasks, as well as ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff. The post holder will supervise the ordering and stock levels of medical supplies, provide training and leadership to Health Care Assistants, and participate in their mentorship and management. Working under the supervision of the Nursing and Health Adviser team, the Assistant Practitioner is expected to maintain high standards of care, manage time and resources effectively, and ensure the clinic environment is clean, tidy, safe, and welcoming to patients.
Experience
Experience working in a healthcare setting is desirable. Ability to work under supervision and within the boundaries of existing competence while developing skills continuously.

Qualifications
