About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to deliver essential mental health support and interventions directly within the community, positively impacting patients' lives. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will conduct robust assessments (by telephone or face-to-face) for patients referred with mental health difficulties, identify appropriate care pathways ensuring the least restrictive options, and signpost to relevant care providers. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy, medics, psychology, and administration to plan and deliver patient-centered care. Experience
A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Community Psychiatric Nurse in a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.

Committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Flexible and adaptable to varied community settings. Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to own vehicle.

Qualifications
Current NMC Professional Registration with compliance to maintain up-to-date nursing practices. Depending on the Trust, additional certifications and skills may be required.
