About the Role
Pyramid Plus South, a joint venture partnership between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, delivers repairs and maintenance, compliance, planned replacements and fire risk assessment works to 23,500 homes. Completing over 46,000 repairs, 1,000 voids and fitting 600 kitchens and bathrooms annually, the business is growing with a wide range of upcoming projects.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work within social housing, supporting a stable and profitable contract by delivering excellent service and commercial support through local teams committed to the community.

You will assist the Commercial & General Manager with commercial control and reporting, ensuring high standards in commercial activities across housing properties. Your role includes financial management support of the joint venture maintenance contract, achieving financial targets, and maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities include reviewing, validating and approving subcontractor quotations and variations in line with NHF V7.2 pricing agreements to ensure value for money, agreeing subcontractor valuations and payments, measuring work, identifying and agreeing variations with clients, and optimising commercial use of the asset management system following Mears' protocols.

Experience
- Previous social housing experience across Voids & Repairs business streams
- Experience working with NHF Schedule of Rates and SOR codes
- Proven ability to measure works and generate and agree applications
- Experience reviewing, validating and approving subcontractor quotations and variations in line with NHF V7.2 pricing agreements
- Experience managing supply chain partners
- Experience in financial reporting and data analysis
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient IT skills including advanced Excel and Word

Qualifications
