About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Therapies and Rehabilitation directorate for a full-time Assistant Service Manager on a permanent contract within Regional specialist rehabilitation. This is a challenging role within a busy directorate, where the post holder will have the opportunity to make a direct positive impact on patient experience within the Trust. The successful candidate will support our Service Manager in the daily operational delivery of the service, interacting with patients, consultants, external stakeholders, and healthcare referrers. The role emphasizes teamwork and the ability to manage others effectively.

Requirements

Experience

  • Significant experience of staff supervision and management, including recruitment, retention, appraisal, and first-line disciplinary actions.
  • Have significantly contributed to meeting operational objectives.

About you
The successful candidate must be proactive, possess good problem-solving abilities, and have a flexible, can-do approach to resolving issues within outpatient areas. This role is ideal for applicants with significant ASM experience seeking a new challenge.

Qualifications

  • Educated to HNC/Equivalent Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • GCSE Maths & English.
  • Track record of significant continuous professional and management development.
