About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, high quality teaching, research, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. It is part of King’s Health Partners and works closely with King’s College London to support world-leading clinical research.

The Gastroenterology service within the Gastrointestinal Medicine and Surgery directorate is a busy department managing a large outpatient service including Endoscopy and specialised hepatology services. This role supports the pathway for patients diagnosed with blood-borne viruses (hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV) through the NHS England Emergency Department opt-out testing programme.

The post holder will work closely with clinical teams in hepatology and HIV services, supporting patient linkage into care, managing administrative and data duties, and liaising with external agencies across the South East London sector and the South East London and Kent viral hepatitis Operational Delivery Network (ODN).

There may also be an expectation to provide cover for general duties of pathway navigators within the Gastroenterology service.
