About the Role
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking an experienced Assistant Stage Manager (Book Cover) to join the West End production of John Proctor is the Villain by Kimberly Belflower, directed by Danya Taymor. The role involves performing all duties normally expected of an ASM (Book Cover) on a first-class West End production. You will work in a busy live production environment, supporting the stage management team and ensuring smooth running of performances. The contract is fixed term until Saturday 24th April 2027, or for the run of the production, whichever is shorter, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/Equity Agreement. The start date is 15th January 2027. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to commit to the full contract. Experience
Previous experience as an ASM (Book Cover) on a West End play is essential. Stage Manager cover experience is desirable.

About you
Attention to detail, ability to stay calm under pressure within a team in a busy live production environment. Good all-round technical and prop maintenance skills are required. Commitment to working collaboratively and professionally in a high-paced theatre setting.
