About the Role
As an Audit Analyst within the Data, Privacy and Responsible AI portfolio, you will focus on Data and AI capability, tooling, and practices at Lloyds Banking Group. You will support the delivery of high-quality audits by owning the design, operational evaluation, and testing of key controls, applying proficient audit methodology and expertise in Data, Privacy, and Responsible AI risk areas.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced Data and AI environment in one of the UK's largest digital banks. You will contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of LBG's Data & AI strategy delivery, support ongoing development and improvement of GA&CI through strategic and integrated audit focus, collaboration, and agile delivery methods.
Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to the audit plan, delivering specified outcomes, supporting control testing, identifying areas of concern, building stakeholder relationships, conducting research to analyze key themes and external trends, suggesting compliance process improvements, role modelling Group values and behaviours, and driving personal development and a positive learning culture through coaching and feedback.
Experience
- Proven ability to lead and take ownership of delivery while championing colleagues' growth and development.
- Experience delivering risk and control assurance activities that are timely, impactful, insightful, and valued by stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit Strategy and connect audit delivery and business monitoring insights at a macro level.
- Strong analytical skills to understand and communicate data effectively and use data to drive audit outcomes.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively to ensure timely and value-added delivery.
- Technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Data Management including Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Products, Data Lineage, and Data Management tools (e.g., Collibra, Snowflake, Google's Dataplex)
- Data Analytics practices and tools
- AI Governance Frameworks, laws and regulations, including intersections with data privacy laws
- Understanding of emerging AI technologies and practices
- Previous financial services, audit, or risk experience is beneficial.
