About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bank Receptionist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Harrow. The hospital provides a recovery-focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems, including specialist diagnostic, assessment, and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. You will work in a fast-paced environment where the ability to process information quickly and remain calm and controlled at all times is essential. Your responsibilities will include providing a professional and welcoming reception experience, greeting visitors, notifying staff of arrivals, ensuring visitors sign in and out, recording patient movements, answering and transferring calls, sorting and distributing post, assisting with general office duties, maintaining a tidy reception area, and promoting site safety and security by ensuring compliance with protocols.

Experience
At least 1 year of experience working as a Receptionist in a healthcare setting with excellent communication and customer care skills.

About you
Adaptable, well-presented, polite, friendly, and approachable with excellent communication skills. Organised, naturally helpful, and good at multitasking. Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook) and telephone systems. Diligent and accurate with an eye for detail and understanding of confidentiality.

Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent, demonstrating good numeracy and literacy skills.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a standard or enhanced DBS check.
