About the Role
As a Southwark Leisure Group Exercise Instructor, you will welcome all customers, design and deliver high-quality Les Mills Body Pump and/or Body Attack classes, ensuring all participants’ individual needs and abilities are catered for. You will create a motivating, engaging, and inclusive class atmosphere, demonstrating exercises safely and effectively while providing modifications where required. Your role includes encouraging members to achieve their fitness goals, maintaining excellent class retention, and ensuring all equipment is set up, used safely, and stored correctly. You will promote health and safety standards at all times, build positive relationships with members, and provide outstanding customer service. Additionally, you will attend Les Mills quarterly workshops to keep programme certifications up to date and support the growth and promotion of the group exercise timetable.

Experience
Previous experience leading group fitness classes is preferred but not essential. Enthusiasm, energy, and motivation to inspire participants are key.

Qualifications
- Current Les Mills Body Pump and/or Body Attack Certification.
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualification (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
