This key role involves ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across our portfolio of higher-risk buildings (HRBs). You will manage building safety throughout the lifecycle of HRBs, from design and construction to occupation. Responsibilities include managing handover processes, supporting Safety Case Reports, contributing to Gateway submissions, and maintaining the Golden Thread of Information. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and the Building Safety Regulator to deliver safe, compliant homes and transparent building safety management.
Day-to-day duties include managing the handover process for new build HRBs, ensuring all documentation is collated for registration with the Building Safety Regulator, reviewing design and construction stage information for compliance, assisting in Safety Case Report creation, and supporting Building Assessment Certificate applications. You will contribute to Gateway submissions, maintain accurate building safety data, and ensure robust processes are in place for managing HRBs during occupation. Close collaboration with consultants and internal teams to embed building safety practices and maintain Peabody’s Golden Thread of Information is essential.
