About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Building Safety Manager to join our expanding team following the appointment of a new Head of Service. In this key role, you will lead on ensuring that the buildings within your portfolio comply with the Building Safety Act 2022. You will work collaboratively across the organisation to embed a strong culture of safety and regulatory excellence.
On a day-to-day basis, you will lead the development and maintenance of the building safety case, manage the mandatory occurrence reporting system, and review all relevant building data. You will carefully maintain, update, and evaluate safety through interrogation of management information trackers and dashboards, engaging with internal teams, external providers, consultants, and engineers.
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with residents is essential, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices strongly influence building safety through resident engagement strategies.

Experience
Proven experience delivering building safety in a residential setting, managing risk, interpreting data, and implementing systems to ensure resident safety.
About You
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills. Highly literate and numerate. Able to build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders. Proactive and knowledgeable about current building safety practices.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in building safety, fire safety, architecture, engineering, or construction. Detailed knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated regulations and legislation is essential.
