About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior or Principal Consultant to join our Security Advisory Team as a Built Asset Security Advisor. In this role, you will advise clients, architects, engineers, suppliers and project managers on managing security risk in capital programmes across diverse sectors including life sciences, defence, datacentre and infrastructure. You will review security elements of capital programmes to ensure designs meet client requirements, define and assure security throughout delivery lifecycles, and identify threats and risks in architecture, design and implementation. You will provide clear, structured guidance to strengthen security and participate in design assurance sessions to manage and mitigate security risks. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the world’s most impactful programmes within a growing Built Asset Security team, contributing to Turner & Townsend’s ambitious 2025 vision.

Experience
- Proven experience as a subject matter expert within major projects or programmes
- Experience in the design of counter terrorism and crime prevention measures in the built environment
- Demonstrable security experience or relevant security qualifications applicable to your area of expertise
- Experience in one or more of Turner & Townsend’s key sectors is desirable
- Previous consulting experience and/or managing security in major capital programmes is advantageous

About you
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable business language for key stakeholders
- Passionate about delivering great outcomes and contributing to a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture
- Must hold, have held or be eligible for UK National Security Clearance

Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications at Level 5 or above in security-related fields such as BSc, MSc, CSMP, ISO-19650-5, PSP are desirable
- Understanding of the RIBA plan of work and the delivery of security within the built environment is preferred
