We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Cafe Supervisor to lead our vibrant catering operations across our campus. You will be the face of our hospitality service, overseeing the day-to-day running of the Sugar Ronson Cafe. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will ensure exceptional service delivery to residents, tenants, staff, and external clients within a Jewish environment.
Working closely with the Head Chef and Hospitality Business Manager, you will drive quality, innovation, and customer experience across a diverse and busy operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all cafe, restaurant, and hospitality services across the campus
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and legislative standards
- Manage budgets, purchasing, and cost control to maximise efficiency
- Plan and deliver internal and external events, including quotations and logistics
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to meet service needs
- Supervise, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Maintain excellent customer service standards through visible leadership
- Manage cash handling and financial procedures in line with policy
- Complete administrative tasks including records, rotas, and reporting
- Represent the service at meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
Experience
Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or a similar leadership role
