About the Role
The Cancer MDT Co-ordinator plays a vital role in supporting multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings by scheduling sessions, preparing patient lists, collecting relevant clinical data, and documenting decisions using the Cancer Information System. You will track patient progress along diagnostic and treatment pathways, ensuring compliance with national targets and escalating any breaches promptly to enable corrective action. The role involves accurate data management, including inputting information into the National Cancer Waiting Times database and relevant audits. You will provide cross-cover support for other coordinators during leave and assist in developing clear protocols to ensure service continuity. Maintaining confidentiality, adhering to health and safety regulations, and upholding a professional appearance are essential. The post holder will also actively participate in training, staff meetings, and performance reviews to support ongoing personal and professional development. Experience
Experience in coordinating clinical meetings or working within cancer services is desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with clinical teams and manage patient pathways.

Qualifications
