We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Care Assistant at Wimbledon Common Care Home in London.

Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Responsibilities include assisting residents with all aspects of personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times. You will recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infection, escalating any identified risks promptly. Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality, and practicing safe systems of work across all tasks are essential parts of this role.

Experience
No prior experience is required as we provide a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence within your role.

You must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, demonstrate initiative, and be respectful towards residents and colleagues. Being an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from team members and able to adapt and be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice is essential.

Qualifications
There are no formal qualifications required for this position. However, please note that this role will require a DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare) and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
