We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Wandsworth Common Care Home in London. Your primary focus will be to provide a wide range of activities that engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of detailed life stories.
- Planning and submitting a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview to the Home Manager.
- Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging involvement from staff, relatives, and visitors.
- Maintaining a safe living and working environment and contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
Experience
Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or dementia care setting is essential. Experience organising activities and events is required.

Qualifications
There are no specific qualifications required for this role, but a DBS Disclosure check will be required (cost covered by Avery Healthcare). Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
