Hours
Two positions available with flexible shift patterns to cover annual leave and sickness.
Recruitment 1: Average 26 hours per 2 week rolling rota.
Week one: Wednesday 15:30-21:30, Saturday 07:30-21:30, Sunday 07:30-15:30
Week two: Monday 15:30-21:30, Wednesday 15:30-21:30, Thursday 15:30-21:30, Friday 15:30-21:30
Recruitment 2: Average 19 hours per 2 week rolling rota.
Week one: Monday 15:30-21:30, Wednesday 14:30-21:30, Friday 14:30-21:30
Week two: Wednesday 14:30-21:30, Saturday 15:30-21:30, Sunday 15:30-21:30
Some care is delivered on a 2:1 basis and the role includes weekend work.
Applicants must be willing to work in an environment with a small dog.

Salary
£17.49 - £18.24 per hour after training completion

About the Role
Are you caring, compassionate, and looking to make a real difference in someone's life? Join us as a Care Support Worker supporting a client with Spinal Muscular Atrophy based in London, splitting time between university residence (SW7) and family home (SW19). You will receive full training to gain confidence and provide quality care.

Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting community access to meet friends and engage in enjoyable activities
- Assisting attendance at university
- Meeting complex care needs including moving & handling (high risk of fractures), pressure sore prevention through regular repositioning and skin observations
- Providing full personal care including washing, dressing, toileting
- Supporting eating and drinking including preparation
- Managing secretions with oral suction, chest physiotherapy, cough assist, and nebulizer administration
- Overnight and unwell ventilation support
- Monitoring oxygen saturations, heart rate, and temperature
- Administering medication

You will spend your whole shift focused on one person, providing meaningful and consistent support without travelling between sites.

Experience
Previous experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
