About the Role
Join the Estate Services team at L&Q as a Caretaker based at Acton Gardens, North West London. This role is key to delivering a responsive, customer-focused service to our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining communal areas within blocks and estates, including communal cleaning and grounds maintenance. You will carry out small maintenance repairs as required and liaise directly with residents and contractors, always maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and security. This is a permanent position based at West Ham Lane, Stratford, London, E15 4PH.

Additional Information
The successful candidate will need to apply for or hold a Basic Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate to work within the team.
Experience
Experience carrying out a variety of small repair jobs is desirable. Trade skills, gardening or DIY experience would be an advantage but are not essential as full training will be provided.
About you
You should be a good communicator, willing to learn new skills, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You must be proactive, self-motivated, and organised in managing your time effectively. Awareness of safe working practices and a good standard of literacy are essential. Basic IT skills are required as you will use a PC for online courses and assessments, which can be learned on the job during the probationary period. Qualifications
A recognised City & Guilds or BICS qualification in cleaning is advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided to support your development in the role.
