Location
South West London and surrounding areas including Sutton, Croydon, Battersea, Wandsworth, Merton, Guildford, Redhill, and nearby locations. Mobile worker role with contractual hours worked from various locations such as resident homes and ad hoc office attendance as required.

Hours
Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Opportunity to earn additional income from call outs and out of hours service.

Salary
£41,200 per annum

About the Role
Join the Repairs Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) in one of our largest operational regions. This busy and well-established team carries out a diverse range of repairs and maintenance work across our housing stock. As a Multi Trade Carpenter, you will be responsible for internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith tasks, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework, kitchen repairs/refits, and other general maintenance repairs. Ideally, you will also be able to carry out internal and external window repairs including single and double glazing, door repairs, lock refits, and related tasks.

Effective communication skills and experience working in a building or housing maintenance environment with knowledge of varied housing stock are essential. Customer satisfaction is paramount, and as a first line of contact to residents, you will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service and a right first-time approach to minimize follow-on visits and maximize satisfaction.

A manual driving license is essential for this role. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flexibility required to support service delivery across the wider South West region.

Experience
- Sound working trade knowledge and experience
