The Council has brought together a unique set of leading organisations across healthcare, housing, culture, and business to jointly tackle the climate crisis.
About the Role:
In this role you will build and manage a network of climate change stakeholders, including organisations and experts, and activities to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing. Key responsibilities are as follows:
Enhance and manage an online climate-focused platform with forums, resources, events, and networking capabilities.
Develop and oversee a network of climate stakeholders to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Lead project planning and execution for the online platform and stakeholder network.
Coordinate with partners to market the platform via business and community events.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform features with the climate community’s needs.
To be considered for interview, your CV and supporting statement will clearly evidence:
Knowledge of climate change issues, networks, and stakeholders, with a passion for driving positive change in this field.
Knowledge of website design, online collaboration tools and platforms.
Proven experience of working in partnership with a wide range of organisations and individuals, particularly in the context of climate change or environmental issues.
Strong project management skills include the ability to create and execute project plans, manage timelines, and deliver results on schedule.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
A degree level qualification in a relevant discipline and evidence of continuing professional development, or experience and evidence of professional development where no degree is held.
