About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, teaching, research, and innovation, with a strong commitment to patient experience and safety.

As a Clinical Application Analyst (Diagnostics), you will provide specialist application support for a portfolio of diagnostic systems across two Trusts. Your responsibilities will include managing incidents, service requests, and technical issues to ensure application stability and service continuity within agreed service levels. You will investigate and resolve complex incidents, support system upgrades and enhancements, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to the smooth transition of new technologies into operational service.

This role offers the opportunity to work on significant digital transformation initiatives, including those funded through the NHS Diagnostics Digital Capability (DDC) Programme. The position is initially offered for 18 months, aligned with the current phase of programme delivery.

The role requires a strong technical understanding of diagnostic clinical applications and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You will be a key point of contact for application support, ensuring outstanding customer service in a complex healthcare environment.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, together with King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, forms a major partnership delivering world-class healthcare and digital innovation. The Trusts share a vision for agile, lean digital services supported by significant investment in new Electronic Health Records and other transformative technologies to improve patient care and outcomes.
