We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 2 Clinical Support Worker to join the Cardiac and Respiratory teams at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, specifically on Edward and Sky wards. These wards care for patients under paediatric respiratory and cardiology services. The role involves supporting nursing staff, patients, and their families while ensuring the safety and well-being of the ward environment.

Experience
Previous work experience involving team working, communication with staff and colleagues, and understanding of work practices is essential. Experience in a healthcare environment and dealing with the general public is desirable.

You should have good communication and customer care skills, be able to listen effectively and demonstrate a sympathetic and sensitive approach. The ability to follow instructions, work within a team, and maintain patient confidentiality is essential. You must be caring and committed to promoting dignity and human rights through person-centred care principles.
Qualifications
Essential: Evidence of general education such as GCSEs or equivalent.
Desirable: NVQ Level II in care or equivalent experience/qualification in the relevant speciality.
