About the Role
The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) relies on its Case Management System (CMS) as the primary source for case-related information and process execution. The CMS is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution provided by Clue Computing Company Ltd, Bristol. Although the software is supplied externally, the SFO retains responsibility for managing and administering its own version and configuration of the CMS technology. The CMS Administrator provides in-house technical support for the system as part of the SFO’s small, agile CMS Service Team, delivering an essential service to operational case teams.

The role involves ensuring the CMS remains functional and aligned with case team needs, supporting and maintaining the system alongside the SFO support desk and the supplier, delivering required system changes, and working closely with Case Controllers and case teams to maintain efficient, trouble-free operation. This predominantly technical role also requires a good understanding of the SFO’s processes and organisational structure. Regular office attendance is required, with occasional travel to offsite locations such as the supplier or conferences.

Key responsibilities include managing user access processes (Joiners, Movers, Leavers), producing monthly CMS access reports for compliance, managing permission groups and workflows, modifying system menus and help files, and overseeing audit log interrogation permissions. This role offers development opportunities through supporting and covering other team members.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working with Case Management Systems or similar platforms, including liaising with external suppliers, is essential. Experience in managing user permissions, workflows, and system configurations is highly desirable.

About you
You will be technically proficient with strong problem-solving skills and a good understanding of organisational processes. You should be able to work collaboratively within a small agile team and communicate effectively with operational case teams and external suppliers. A proactive approach to maintaining system functionality and delivering improvements is important.

Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements stated; however, relevant technical qualifications or experience in IT system administration, case management, or related fields will be advantageous.
