About the Role
Join Sainsbury's Corporate Affairs function, a team dedicated to building trust, driving colleague engagement and strengthening our corporate reputation. The Colleague Engagement team plays a vital role in listening to colleagues, turning insight into action and creating meaningful experiences that help colleagues feel heard, valued and connected. Working at the heart of the organisation, you will partner closely with teams across the business to ensure engagement activity is joined up, purposeful and focused on what makes the biggest difference for colleagues and leaders.

This role leads on key colleague engagement programmes, ensuring strong delivery across established activity. You will lead our colleague involvement groups (Make it better together), including national meetings with the Operating Board and listening sessions with Non-Executive Directors. You will also lead programmes that bring Store Support colleagues and store teams closer together, including store working and store closeness.

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of these programmes, managing activity from planning and stakeholder engagement through to delivery and continuous improvement. You will support wider colleague engagement campaigns, ensuring all activity is practical, joined up and grounded in the colleague experience.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, working across Corporate Affairs, Retail, Technology and Corporate functions. You will align multiple stakeholders, develop content and manage budgets, ensuring activity is delivered to brief and on time.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience delivering colleague engagement, employee experience or communications activity in a large organisation. Demonstrated ability to manage programmes or projects end-to-end, including planning, delivery and evaluation. Experience managing multiple priorities and adapting delivery in response to feedback and business needs. Ability to analyse data and translate it into clear, accurate reports. Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working across teams.

About you
You take ownership of established programmes, building strong relationships and delivering with pace and clarity in a large, complex organisation. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a clear focus on quality and outcomes. You bring a collaborative mindset and enjoy working cross-functionally, balancing business needs with colleague experience and translating priorities into engaging delivery that resonates across the organisation. You are highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage change and continuously improve programme delivery.
