About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Communication & Marketing Officer to join the Southbank Centre's Commercial team on a full-time, permanent contract. Reporting to the Commercial Communication & Marketing Manager within an 8-person department, this role is pivotal in driving footfall, engagement, and revenue across the Southbank Centre’s diverse commercial portfolio including Food & Drink outlets (restaurants, cafes, bars), seasonal pop-ups such as the Summer food and drink events and Winter Market, the iconic Southbank Centre Food Market, retail operations both in-store and online, and venue hire promotion to corporate clients and external organisations. The role involves devising and coordinating campaign activities across social media, email, digital, and print channels, planning and delivering email campaigns for the Southbank Centre Shop, creating compelling social media content for the Food Market, supporting commercial partners with marketing guidance, and maintaining strong collaborative relationships across internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery. Experience
Proven experience delivering successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels including social media, email, digital, and print. Familiarity with the Southbank Centre’s commercial portfolio areas such as food and drink, retail, and venue hire is desirable. Ability to analyse and interpret data from platforms like Shopify, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio to inform and optimise campaigns.
