About the Role
We are seeking a confident, resilient, and solution-oriented Commercial Events Officer to join the Commercial team on a full-time permanent contract. In this role, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial activities within Southbank Centre and develop your customer service, administration, and event management skills. You will coordinate and implement Commercial & Development events across venue function rooms, including internal events and private hires, managing venue bookings, set-up, and catering. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, liaising with Southbank Centre colleagues, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of events. Working with prestigious partners such as BFI, BAFTA, ITV, universities, and brand activations, you will experience a dynamic and exciting work environment where no two days are the same.

About Southbank Centre
Southbank Centre is the UK’s largest arts centre and a charity dedicated to bringing millions of people together on London’s South Bank. Experience
Proven experience planning and executing events in a similar sector, venue, or field. Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of people, including key stakeholders of Southbank Centre. Strong project and time management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
