Approximately 14 hours per meeting, totaling roughly 84 hours per year. Flexible working required as meetings may occur in the evenings and occasionally on weekends.

About the Role
The Cambridge Road Estate (CRE) Community Board is composed of residents, community group representatives, ward councillors, and council officers. The Board represents the interests of residents by reviewing proposals and providing feedback and ideas. This role is primarily home-based, with meetings held on-site at the Cambridge Road Estate in Kingston. The Clerk for the Community Board reports to the Resident Engagement & Social Value Lead and is responsible for the administrative tasks necessary for the successful organization and delivery of Community Board meetings and associated administrative duties. Key responsibilities include organizing, attending, and minuting Community Board and sub-group meetings; preparing agendas and papers in collaboration with stakeholders; maintaining the Action Log and forward plan of work; arranging meeting invitations and administrative aspects of training; handling enquiries and liaising with the Chair; managing member recruitment and election processes; processing expenses for Community Board members; and distributing communication materials.
Experience
Proven experience in delivering tasks associated with a clerk role, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
About you
Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills. Capable of managing time effectively while working as part of a team. Familiarity with Google Suite is preferred, but experience with email, spreadsheets, calendar, and document management is essential. Ability to handle confidential matters professionally and sensitively, with a task-driven approach to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but relevant experience in administrative roles is advantageous.
